Relationships between Psychological Factors, Disability, Quality of Life and Health in Chronic Pain Disorders

چکیده
Långvarig smärta är en stor patientgrupp. Omkring 30-40 procent av befolkningen lider av långvarig smärta av sådan grad att det stör vardagslivet. Tio procent har så smärta att det invalidiserar i någon grad. Långvarig smärta är att betrakta som ett folkhälsoproblem men är samtidigt ett eftersatt område trots en beräknad total samhällskostnad på årliga 85 miljarder kronor i Sverige. Det är inget prioriterat område i vården och missgynnat när det handlar om hur man tar hand om patienter.
